Expat

Hi! I think an expat is stereotyped as someone who doesn’t try to integrate into the local society. Many expats do not speak the local language of the country they’re living in, although an increasing percentage tries to learn it. I guess the fact that they are typically “above” the average people results in their aloof behavior.
