The ability to publish student work to an authentic audience is a right not a privilege and a skill necessary for our students to develop skills for success today. While many teachers I work with believe this they are frustrated by principals who fear letting students publish their work because it may have errors. Another fear is safety, however, research doesn't support the idea that having a responsible digital footprint results in safety issues and in fact empowering students with the tools to develop a digital a digital keeps them more safe.
I'm wondering if anyone has articles, videos, etc that I can share that address this fear.
Thanks in advance.
