I thought it might be a good idea to share career opportunities not only for those who are looking but also to provide members with a sense of the type of opportunities available. If you know of a position that may be of interest to innovative educators, share it here.
New York City Innovative Educators interested in working as an instructional technology staff developer can find information about applying to Title 2D grant positions here.
I have an innovative idea that I need help with. I want to create a course that teacher the history of art and architecture around the world. I want it to be used by teachers around, by history and social teachers, by life long learners, and I would like to drop into a class using Skype to work with students and their teachers. Do you all think this is a crazy idea? Do you know anyone who would like to work with me on a pilot project?

So... Are you interested in teaching technology in a small island community? We have just over 700 students in our 9-12 public school, and computer class sizes are typically limited to about 16-18. Our retiring colleague has been teaching in this position since 1985. We're a strong department in a great school.
