Hi, I am Mary Jo Schreiber. I am the computer teacher at a Catholic school in Pasadena, MD and have taught there for the past 3 years. Looking forward to getting web 2.0 info and how to use it in my school.
Hi Mary Jo,
I started here back in October 2007 and have found this network to be a great place to learn about Web2.0. Take the time to explore or even start your own discussion.
Helen
Welcome! I'm a keyboarding/computer teacher (technically business education) as well - what grades do you teach? I currently teach 4th and 6th grades. There is plenty for you to explore here, I hope you're able to find many things to use!
Welcome to CR2.0 Mary Jo. Take a look at the forum discussions or the tag list to the right of the screen and I think you'll find a lot of tips and ideas, Looking forward to your ideas too!
Kia Ora all - I'm Jo - a primary school teacher in the lower North Island of New Zealand teaching a class of 27 children ranging in age from 7 - 8.10.

I'm an old hand at technology, and ICT lead teacher for my school, the ICT Curriculum leader ... and still learning!

I've been blogging for years - personally and professionally; I also have a wikispace (educational) but I'm still learning - lol - that's really my theme in life - i believe that when i stop being a learner i stop being a teacher.

I'm hoping to get some ideas about blogging/wikis in the classroom - possibly become involved in some collaborative projects etc.

Pleased to be here.
Great to have you here, Jo. Love the attitude! You might want to take a look at our web conversations--I think you'd enjoy them, and you can help us schedule some at a time that works for the folks down under. http://www.classroom20wiki.com/LIVE+Conversations.
Hello everyone, my name is Jason and I am just getting into the NING community. Steve, I am quite amazed at what you have done and would like to follow in that vein. Glad to be a part of this.
And we're glad to have you part of this! Hope you have fun exploring!
Hey, y'all, I'm Shelley, and I am a storyteller and a matchmaker, both by inclination and profession. At this point in my life, that means that I work as a college counselor in an independent school in New Jersey's Delaware Valley (USA). I spend my autumns coaching essay-writing, my winters modeling and preaching patience and perspective, my springs getting to know a new group of students as I help them get to know themselves, and my summers falling in serial platonic crush with each of my rising seniors as I write letters in support of their candidacy for university admission. I sometimes blog about my work at http://relaxnoreally.blogspot.com. At home, I am happily partnered and the mother of an inspiringly curious 6 year-old. Those hijinks are chronicled at http://butwait.blogspot.com and a list of my current fave e-learning toys tools is here: http://www.c4lpt.co.uk/recommended/shelleykrause.html
Hi, Shelley. Welcome! Hope you have a good experience here. Love the toys/tools list. :)
Thanks, Steve... seems like this is going to be a great place to hang out and learn. Thanks, too, for the ups on my list... I think Jane's really got a good thing going on with that project. (http://www.c4lpt.co.uk/recommended/top100.html)
