Creating Attractive Content

Hello everybody, I am looking for simple (and if possible not too expensive) ways to create attractive content.

I have tried to convert OpenOffice Impress files to Flash but did not succeed in rendering not action except for "next slide" action.

I have also tried to use screencasting to make content more attractive by using a big picture and "scrolling" over it while recording the screen... you can see the final result here: Anatomy course
Clic on > Get it! > "Know your Bones" > Start it ("Let's review my body")

Thank you in advance for websites references, advices and help from previous experiments you made...
