Intranet Info

I am looking into the possibility of setting up an intranet for my homeowner's association on our website. At this point I am simply gathering information and starting at ground zero. Well, below ground zero. Can you give me any insight as to what I'm up against and a possible contact or two?

Hi Sally,
are you looking for help with actually setting up the environment or suggestions what to choose. I would suggest you setting up your own server and have vpn connections directly to it if you want to have information secure. But if you want website for your own members, i would suggest setting up mambo content management system or come up with your personal (more protective)
