Scholastic
Has anyone ever tried running a Scholastic Book Fair? Is anyone using the scholastic program to get books for thier classroom? I am in desperate need of getting age appropriate books for my classroom at KinderCare and need to do so without spending a lot of money. I'm looking for the pros and cons of the Scholastic program in general. Thank you so much!

I'm an elementary librarian and we've had Scholastic Book Fairs each year. They are not too difficult to run, but I would highly recommend getting quality parents to help! This is a great way to earn books for your classroom or school. There are a lot of great books, but they also include a bunch of junk - like crazy pencils, erasers, mini journals - stuff that sells and earns you money but I think is a waste of cash for families.
