Students from my online school discussing how Web 2.0 and social networking has helped them with their overall school experience. We ran a Ning network pilot program at our online school with about 200 kids and 5 teachers last semester. We were trying to build community, collaboration, and an educational center for our kids. It went well so made a video about that and what some volunteer students are doing in my online classes that are unique.

Hi Cameron- I am working with a professor from Wayne State right now and we are about to publish a couple papers on using Social Networking in education. You can send me a message through here sometime in the next month and I will let you know when that research is coming out.

What a great success! Is there more information about your project somewhere? I'd love to know what tools the kids used (specifically) so I can have a crack at this in Canberra
