I would like to talk to people with experience of using virtual exhibitions for displaying students work? I am at the moment using a Wikispaces page for this sort of thing. I am pleased with the way things are working out but I would still like to know about other peoples experiences.

Also I am interested in student views on displaying their work on-line and I would like to opinions from the educator point of view.

I have just started looking into voicethread as a way of displaying work and have others comment on it. It looks quite good... I am having my first class upload work this week, so it is still in the "trial" phase... there is an educational component, so it is more secure to deal with issues around who is posting and who is commenting
My students are using VoiceThread to present their work and it works wonderfully. Easy to understand and use. I am also planning to use it myself to present the students with new projects. We are using the free version and the students are using their own accounts. I do not anticipate any problems around posting and commenting.

Another great service which we are using is glogster.com.

Both VoiceThreads and Glogster posters works very well for posting on Wikispaces.
