I am wondering what digital tool for making student presentations you all have found useful. I feel like kids get powerpointed to death in our school and am wondering what other options are viable.

Thanks for your input.

Windows MovieMaker is a great resource for student presentations. Best part -- it's free! Kids can quickly understand the tools and user interfaces within the software, and they can include graphics, movie clips, audio and more in their presentations. My students have had a lot of success using the program. It helps if your students have access to flip cameras or other devices to record video, but truthfully virtually all of their cell phones can handle the videotaping requirements needed for that task.
Hi Thomas,

my name is Felix and I am with Stupeflix.com an online video and slideshow creator. Lots of teachers are using Stupeflix to create videos in their classroom. We have been called "Powerpoint for Video".

We are setting up an educational license at the moment and are inviting beta testers to use our software in their classroom for free and give feedback. Maybe this is for you?

You can sign up for FREE and get all infos about the program here: Stupeflix for Education
Thanks Felix,
I will look into this and see what it does for the teaching chunk of my brain.
Tom
great!
My young learners adore Glogster Edu. They easily learned how to work with tools and express ideas...at the first sight, I would say :) I think it is the best tool for setting a project work ( with Premium packet ).Here are some of their projects with Glogster. Make sure that Glogster can provide your students more fun, than powerpointing .:)
I use Flip Cams and Movie Maker to create vidio presentations. The kids love seeing themselves in a "movie"
