Hi All,

My name is Bruce. I am a physiotherapist in Australia.

We have developed leading edge notetaking and filing software - eNoteFile.

The fully-functional standard version is free.

eNoteFile is being well received in allied health environments but students and teachers can customise it to meet their needs too. You can insert your own templates and images or just use the plain or lined paper provided.

I think the requirements such as digitiser pen and keyboard entry, easy visual cue searching, online and offline capability, remote access, synchronisation and sharing of notes are similar for both allied health and education.

The physiotherapy / physical therapy market also demand functionality like password protection, mandatory fields and modified date audits which are all included free on the standard version.

Please visit www.enotefile.com to download your free version. Some computers will require the free update to the latest .NET Framework 3.5 included in the installation process.

Thank you and I look forward to your feedback from the online education community.

Regards,

Bruce

That site/app looks very cool, my question for you is, do you have a version for Mac or is this only for a PC? Can u use it strictly online in which case it wouldn't really matter?

Thanks
Hi David,
Thanks for the "very cool" feedback.
My understanding is eNoteFile can be used on a Mac as part of Boot Camp with OS X, or Fusion or Parallel software with Windows installed.
We intend to offer a Mac version down the track as well.
I'd love to hear how you go.
One of the advantages to eNoteFile is that it can be used offline or synchronise online, but this does mean it has to be installed locally first to allow the "instant infrastructure" associated with this functionality.
Thanks and regards,
BC
Hi WGhaleb,

I have a business partner on Mac as well - so it is definitely on our to-do list!

At this stage it is still difficult to give you an exact time though unfortunately.

Thanks and regards,

BC
I have looked at many note-taking software products for me as a grad student and also for students. I tried the website and it was down.

Looking forward to playing with the software
Thanks John - be great to get your feedback.
Looks like the site is ok now.

Is .NET another way to say Visual Basic? I tried the site but I get "The server at www.enotefile.com is taking too long to respond."
Sorry Evan - looks like the site is ok now
Will have to get back to you on the .NET vs Visual Basic definition...
