Dear Andrew Bendelow,

Thank you. Yes, I would love to work with you in a digital story telling project. In addition, the graduate students in the course would definitely benefit from planning online curricula. Please let me know when you would like to talk about this project in greater detail. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Aries Cobb

Hey Andrew,

Our Brainyflix video contest just ended, and I wanted to thank you for helping us get the word out. We got 800 submissions from across the country!

That said, MIT was really happy with the results and will let us run another contest, so we're going for it! But this time, we're gonna have kids create Brainypics flashcards - which are images and sentences paired up with a one of our SAT/ACT words. The contest ends May 22nd, and there'll be iTunes and a cash prize like last time. To boot, we'll double the payout if the kids can hit a certain goal. More details at brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules.

Do you mind passing my message along to students and your HS colleagues again?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi, Andrew. There are a number of options worth exploring for getting your high school students blogging, each with slightly different features. A few you might consider include Ning, ePals SchoolBlog, and 21Classes.

Cool! Yeah, actually there are few great vocab vids on YouTube, it's just that no one has compiled or organized them. That's what we're hoping to do witht his charity event! Getting started is easy, though you should go over the rules first http://www.brainyflix.com/main/contest_rules. Pretty much it's as simple as picking some vocab and making some fun videos. Lemme know if you have any outstanding questions

Hi Andrew!

Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a nationwide Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get more students involved from Illinois

You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Andrew, what age groups do you teach. If you let me know then I am almost certain that I can find someone for you. A lot of people think that NZ and Australia are the same, but we are not, and I am glad that you did not assume that!!!

Hello Andrew! I'm teaching in 1st and 2nd grade this year. I wonder what grade level you teach. Is there a specific topic you would like to collaborate on?

I'm just taking a look at your blogspot. The point you make in your last post reminds me of Stephen Bax's discussion on the "normalisation" of computer technology in language teaching.
Bax, S. (2003). CALL - past, present and future. System, 31(1): 13-28.

Thanks!

Hi Andrew, I am not teaching this year, however I will happily add your invitation to the Israeli Teachers Social Network - Edureshet. To do that I would need to know, what ages/grades are we talking about? Do you have a specific project or subject that you would like to collaborate on? Great wiki!

Hi Andrew, we are always interested in collaboration activities but which year levels do you have in mind? I really like your wiki.
