During a terrible famine seven years ago, then 14-year old William learned from a library book how to build a windmill and harness enough wind energy to power his family's compound. Soon the news of his invention spread and William became known all over the world: he was a TED fellow in 2007 and, the following year, delivered an address at the Economic World Forum.<br />
