Lujan. My grandma passed away last year. She was my world and my mom, since she raised me since I was 2 weeks old. She was such a happy and loving lady. Her tortillas were the best in all of northern New Mexico, how many people do you know that can make tortillas where you pull one apart and have two tortillas because they were so thick. I am blessed to have had her in my life for 26 years. She saw me when I graduated high school, got married, got my Bachelors Degree and most importantly she met my two beautiful girls. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. She was a very healthy lady until she suffered a fall in 2007 and broke her neck and was bed ridden for her remaining years. She survived the broken neck, it healed, what took my grandma was face cancer that had come back after 12 years of remission. My mother and I along with a few others took care of my grandma till the very end. I love her and miss her greatly. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her or something or someone reminds me of her. I hope you enjoy my video as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Also I want to pay a small tribute with some of my pictures to one of my uncles, one of my grandma’s son’s who also passed away on June 8th, 2010 after a short battle with Leukemia.
