So far the best result I've had is via authorPoint conversion and then uploading through authorSTREAM. Preezo, SlideShare, ZohoShare all flatten out the animations, and whilst authorPoint-lite is not perfect, it is much better!

FYI for folk using slideshare who have edublogs, the embed is really simplified, just put the bracketed link for word press listed on slideshare in your post and voila.
