EN:
We showed how Easter is celebrated in Lithuania compared to twenty-one partner school in Europe. They found out that Easter is celebrated at different times, e.g. Romania and Greece are Orthodox Christians and celebrate a week after Scotland. The pupils loved seeing photos and Power Points from the other countries and sharing their work. They made Easter cards and sent them to all the other countries and received a great many in return which were displayed in the classroom for all to see. They were so many that parts had to be hanged on the walls. We've created a short film about the pupils activities and posted it on the web.
The pupils had a real purpose and thoroughly enjoyed working together to prepare work which could be shared with so many other countries. There was a real thrill about making the Easter cards and the children took extra pride in the making them, because they were to be sent across Europe. There was also the excitement of receiving cards from other countries.
The project it began in January and continued for four months. Short projects of this type are the best for very young children. Students are willing to participate in short projects with quickly visible results. This project could easily be used in any class in the school. Learning about culture and diversity at the early stages of primary gives pupils a great start in the teaching of global issues.
LT:

Mokiniai noriai dalyvauja trumpuose projektuose, kada greitai matomas rezultatas.

Suzanne English Lyrics (First verse & chorus)
Suzanne takes you down to her place near the river
You can hear the boats go by
You can spend the night beside her
And you know that she's half crazy
But that's why you want to be there
And she feeds you tea and oranges
That come all the way from China
And just when you mean to tell her
That you have no love to give her
Then she gets you on her wavelength
And she lets the river answer
That you've always been her lover

And you want to travel with her
And you want to travel blind
And you know that she will trust you
For you've touched her perfect body with your mind.

Maintenant, tu n'as plus peur
De voyager les yeux fermés
Une flamme brûle dans ton cœur
Suzanne Italian Lyrics (1st verse & chorus)
Nel suo posto in riva al fiume
Suzanne ti ha voluto accanto
e ora ascolti andar le barche
ora vuoi dormirle accanto
si lo sai che lei è pazza
ma per questo sei con lei
e ti offre il the e le arance
che ha portato dalla Cina
e proprio mentre stai per dirle
che non hai niente da offrirle
lei è già sulla tua onda
e fa il fiume ti risponda
che da sempre siete amanti.

E tu vuoi viaggiarle insieme
vuoi viaggiarle insieme ciecamente

Croatian Lyrics (hrvatski)
Suzanne te vodi do svog mjesta uz rijeku
Možeš čuti kako brodovi prolaze
Možeš provesti noć pored nje
I znaš da je napola luda
Ali zato ti je i drago što si s njom
Nudi te čajem i narančama
stiglima iz daleke Kine

I baš kad joj zaustiš reći
da je ne možeš voljeti
Ona te ponese na svojim valovima
i rijekom progovori
da ćeš uvijek biti njen dragi

I želiš putovati s njom
želiš putovati slijep
i znaš da će ti vjerovati
jer si dotaknuo njeno savršeno tijelo svojom dušomLes technologies au projet Printemps des Poètestag:www.classroom20.com,2008-03-01:649749:BlogPost:1142012008-03-01T16:00:00.000ZGražina Likpetrienėhttps://www.classroom20.com/profile/Grazina
