I would like to offer a definition of “on line learning" or e-learning:

A DISTANCE EDUCATION WITHOUT DISTANCES (with ICT support)

“ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) supported virtual distance  education or on-line learning (e-Learning) is a collaborative  teaching-learning process among students and teachers, based on group and individual assignments, essentially through asynchronous motivating and participatory activities, technologically ICT mediated, with the support of interactive synchronous and asynchronous resources (WEB2) with active multimedia contents based on a course management system platform, in order to create an inclusive learning socio-critical community (social network), generating compromise and knowledge, constructively in diversity.”12
