About Me: My name is Michael Jacobs. I am a father of 2 children, ages 2 and 6. My oldest is now in first grade, and I am doing my best to ensure that her school-age years are the safest they can be. After spending 6 years working in patient safety at schools and university hospitals, I founded a software company focused on student safety. Through this company, I work actively with schools to help them achieve their goals in improving safety for all students and staff. Most of all, I do this because I care about what happens at the school when I can't be there. My goals are to help schools nationwide do things safer, and to give other parents out there a voice in ensuring that their child is at a school that cares about what happens to him or her.
