use wikispaces more so than the other 2--which I think are slightly more standard in the enterprise 2.0/web 2.0/organization 2.0 space. although, that may just be my perception)…
es and can be made completely private for free (unlike Wikispaces, where it costs $50/year). You can also add multimedia easily and customize the banner with your own photos, etc. My one complaint is their interface for developing your navigation, which I find less user-friendly than the process on Wikispaces, at least in terms of how I think. But that's a minor consideration.…
he end of the quarter, I am going to have them create a Newsletter Style project, reporting in Latin what they are learning in other classes, etc. I have been exploring different options for publishing this newsletter. What are the differences between NING and WikiSpaces? And, which medium would you recommend?…
for a wikispace account early on. I like Wikispaces because its simple, easy to use, allows users to embed any kind of multimedia object they've posted online, and allows different privacy levels (open to the public, viewable by the public but editable only by members, and completely private).

Thanks!

Wikispaces is free for k-12 classroom work. Not sure about pbwiki, but think they may also be. Wikispaces link for this is: http://www.wikispaces.com/t/x/teachers100k
I use Wikispaces too, its excellent. When I first got the idea of looking at using a Wiki with my students I searhed the internet a lot and Wikispaces was the best one.
