I'm Technology Director in a K-8 district/school of 600 students located in central New Hampshire, USA. I've been in education since 2004, prior to which I was a geographic information systems specialist in consulting and higher ed. I hail from the amazing state of Wyoming, and have a graduate degree in engineering from Purdue University. Currently, I am President-Elect of NHSTE, the NH affiliate of ISTE.
Hi Pam! Hope you're enjoying the winter break. I was wondering if you, your educator contacts or students would be interested in participating in a Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. We'd really like to get NH students involved. Please let me know. Thanks!
With your work in Ed Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.
Hi Pam,
I would like to invite you to visit my video vocabulary building website www.WordAhead.com . It has short and fun videos to explain the meaning of difficult english words. Do visit! I am sure you and your students will find it fun and educational! Thanks
