Thanks, Thomas! I appreciate your reply and resources. Right now, I am a little overwhelmed myself with the new school year and keeping up with my master's classes. But, as soon as I can get a breath, I will check out the items that you sent.

Forgot to say that I would like to receive the invite to the Facebook page from your student from Spain. That would be great!

    Hi Thomas,

With your work in Ed Technology integration, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service.

I am signed on and ready to go!

Hi Thomas. I was wondering if you and your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

    Cool. Thanks, Thomas

We are about to fly through Classification, Plants and Animals....all before the Science portion on March 12! My Anatomy class is working on the skeletal system....I would love to be connected with other teachers and students to network. Any help you can give me would be GREAT!

Thanks for the input on my blog about the Clean Water site. We do not cover water quality in my Earth class but April does in her Environmental class so I will pass along the info. to her. Thanks!

    Hi Thomas,
How are you? No, I haven't read the "Minds" article yet, but will tonight or tomorrow. My classes are getting ready for the Language and Reading portion of the AHSGE test as well, and boy are we stressed! We are doing practice tests on USA testprep today in the lab, so I have a little time to explore. My 9th grade class is writing expository essays and will be doing research next week. Any ideas other than using a virtual library to incorporate technology with that? I am searching ideas in my "spare" time, so anything you can possibly help me with would be great!! See you next Monday! :) Tracy

That sounds like a great idea; however, I am giving the 9 weeks test on Friday. I will look at the upcoming schedule and let you know what day. I think I need you to clarify some things first. The techno lingo makes my head hurt, but I am soaking it in. :) I will get back with you.

About my ning, I haven't figured out how to invite anyone yet...or my students, but its pretty!
I teach environmental science, but not AP.

Hey Thomas, our teachers are really working together to understand and figure out ways to incorporate this technology into our classes. I met with a few teachers yesterday and heard several great ideas. I finally stole Mr. Noah’s folder, he has been sick for the last few days. I still don’t have a head-set but I am in the process of finding some. Look forward to the PD next week. Let me know if you have any needs or concerns. JS

Check your email for an invitation.
I am looking forward to our next class.
