Hello! I am a 3rd grade teacher from Illinois and I'm trying to connect with other teachers and academic technology folks, particularly on the subject of teaching writing.
Hi Cindy, welcome from Germany! I focus on Web 2.0 for education and on European projects like Comenius (school projects) and eTwinning (electronic partnerships between schools from different countries).
Check out one of my blogs

In addition I would like to invite you to join my group DigiSkills (digital teaching methods) on Classroom 2.0 - it´s the biggest group at the moment.
Greetings
Hans
Thanks Cindy. I'm the instructional tech coord. at St. John Lutheran School in Ellisville. I was at your Google Earth Pre-Con at METC this past year!
I'd love to hear about the free PD.
Hi Cindy,
Thanks for asking. I guess maybe you're a fellow seeker?
I put together a list based on what people sent and what I could find. Based on what I was looking for (unedited raw footage of teachers teaching in a classroom) the first source was the best for me. For other purposes, others will be better. Anyway, there's a lot of good stuff, and if you know of other sources, please let me know and I'll add them to the list so everything's all in one place.

Wasn't meant to be a slam, was actually pretty darn exciting! Those are the people who REALLY need the PD, versus people who are just looking for something even newer than what they were using last week. Thrilled to see so many people who were virtual newbies.
Hi Cindy
Thanks for the word wall. It captures the essence of this world.
And thanks for your voice on our ABC thread, too.
I'm sorry I never tracked you down to say thanks.
I now run something called Day in a Sentence, if you are ever interested. I just posted this week's version at my blog.

Cindy,
I will be teaching a special topics ED Tech course this summer allowing teachers to locating meaningful Web 2.0 resources to enhance their practice. I am leaving next week to attend the Emerging Tech conference to gather more ideas. I would love to hear what you have found that teachers and students find engaging and stimulating in the classroom.
Hi Cindy. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. If not, perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!
