My area of special interest, and the reason I have made the shift from classroom art teacher to tech, is virtual worlds. I am currently putting the finishing touches on my masters capstone on research supported pedagogy within VLEs. I have been using the Active Worlds platform to create Virtual World WebQuests. Hopefully I will be able to use them with my online students. Otherwise, I have a handful of teachers in my brick and mortar school who are brave enough to try them out.
