I would like to really understand how to create a wiki from scratch. At a very basic level. Like what kind of software do you need, how do you design the Wiki page, etc. I know how to use wiki's to find key information but, how do you start one - help please.

I've been looking into that too and found this so far http://pbwiki.com/ I havent had time to check it out so don't know if its any good!!
