There is no rulebook for implementing 1-to-1 programs - see these two different 1:1 approaches.

Thanks for the invite to the group! I look forward to learning from everyone. I am currently at a critical point in our planning process. I am set to finalize our plans for funding the program. Depending on which turn we must take will determine much of how our 1:1 will look come next school year.

Here is a 1:1 model that Gary Adams and I implemented at Palisades School District in PA. It is the "pull approach" that has been reasonable, affordable, and embraced.

Here is a some information about my district's journey and an article featuring our district along with great quotes from Rich about this issue! The issue of equity is the one I hear the most push-back on, and I look forward to the discussion on how to sustain ubiquitous computing, here in this group!
