Last term I used Picasa with a class of 11/12 year olds as part of a digital photography/art class. I found it simple to use and quite effective. The advantage is that it is free so if the kids want to use it from home for their own photography it is easy to download and use.<br />

Well, I was thinking of using the basic Office Photo Editor, but I thought it might be worth using Picasa or something similar. The drawback of Picasa is that everyone would have to get an account which isn't going to cover everyone.
