I was just introduced to Remix America and wrote a post called Remix America – A Great Tool for Black History Month Lessons. Remix America is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that uses innovative online editing software to enable students from around the country to make their own videos, PSAs and remixes – entirely online. This sounds like a powerful technology with great implications for the classroom. I'd love to hear what others think and/or if they've used it.

Thanks Lisa! You might want to check out our latest blog post HERE.

Morgan Freeman is pretty adamant about his feelings on Black History Month... how do your students feel about it? Have a class discussion about the importance (or unimportance!) of Black History Month. Assign your students to Talk Back to the video -- or Comment on the video/blog post.
