Engrade
Hi,
I have a teacher who is looking to use Engrade - online gradebook- with his students this year. I am wondering if anyone has used it in the past, or knows much about it. I created an account and quickly noticed that the last "update" for the site appeard in March 2008, so I do not think it is very current. But, I could be wrong. I am weary of teachers using "free" sites like this, because there always seem to be a catch.

We are in our second year of using it as a fourth grade team at our school and we don't have any problems. Our fifth grade team uses snapgrades.com but they pay for that service. Our district is supposed to be getting a web based grading program next year so we will try that once it rolls out but for us engrade works great. Very easy to use. Sometimes there are log in issues during peak times but we try to avoid that.
