Hi,

I am trying Grou.ps with a class this semester and so far, it's not been working out well. My students did not get the invitations, then when I resent them, they had passwords problems. The site is a bit slow to load. But I still would like to use it because I love the features it offers and I feel it could be a great substitute to NING. I'm also using a NING mini in another class and it definitely does not offer some things thatI would like for this class.

So, my question…

Hi everyone,
I am in the progress to write a lit review on web 2.0 tools in physical education. I have designed a practicum course using NING and wikis and as it is coming to an end, I am creating a survey. This first pilot study will discuss the use of social networks with teacher candidates in their practicum experience.
I am looking specifically for:
1) Articles for the lit review focused on using social networks in Education.
2) Examples of surveys done using social networks in Education.
I am developing a poster for an International Conference in April and I want to make sure I note the current research.
Thank you so much!
Hi, I am a middle school Latin teacher. I am working on putting the final touches on a class project. The students are composing simple Latin sentences to show understanding of the Latin grammar. At the end of the quarter, I am going to have them create a Newsletter Style project, reporting in Latin what they are learning in other classes, etc. I have been exploring different options for publishing this newsletter. What are the differences between NING and WikiSpaces? And, which medium would…

I have really enjoyed my experience with all of you on Classroom 2.0, and I thought I would push myself further in my thinking by using the platform to organize my resources for a graduate class I will be teaching a number of times this summer. I will be working with teachers at all levels of tech experience, but my guess is that none of them will have used anything like this. Do any of you in my Classroom 2.0 network have any bits of wisdom to share? Here is what…

Do any of you in my Classroom 2.0 network have any bits of wisdom to share? Here is what I have used in the past, a simple website. This is what I created in a very short time, more coming as I prep for the start of class.
