SUMMARY:TIGed e-course: Empowering Student Voice in Education
DESCRIPTION:Around the world, a growing number of educators recognize 
 the unique perspectives of students and the importance of including st
 udent voice in both educational policy and practice. This course is de
 signed to help educators understand the value of cultivating and engag
 ing student voice both inside and outside the classroom. Course materi
 al draws on the experiences of educators who have incorporated student
  voice in their teaching practice and designed experiences and project
 s that empower students to have an equal say in the decision-making pr
 ocesses that shape their education. Educators will critically examine 
 the current state of student voice in their educational contexts, and 
 work towards designing a project that enables and enhances student voi
