 ily presentations, interactive workshops, small group sessions and vis
 its to classrooms featuring students and teachers engaged with thinkin
 g routines and other strategies to encourage thinking in the classroom
 .\nParticipants will hear from colleagues and researchers as to the Po
 wer of Making Thinking Visible through documentation, Thinking routine
 s, concept maps and the use of the language of thinking in early child
 hood settings.\n\nThe Power of Making Thinking Visible Institute is an
  opportunity for teachers and school administrators to engage with the
  ideas associated with Visible Thinking, Culture of Thinking, Artful T
 hinking and TfU.\nAlthough the institute is focused on early childhood
  ages, the theory, routines and strategies used during the presentatio
 ns and at the schools, are all used in elementary, middle schools and 
 high schools around the world too.\n\n\nOutcomes/Objectives:\nStudents
  will:\nâ€¢ Learn about Visible Thinking approach and practice thinkin
 g routines designed to make studentsâ€™ thinking visible.\nâ€¢ Hear fr
 om experienced colleagues that have been working with the Visible Thin
 king approach from Harvard University in early childhood settings\nâ€¢
  Visit classrooms to see thinking in action\nâ€¢ Explore the cultural 
 forces as leverage points for creating a culture of thinking\nâ€¢ View
  studentsâ€™ thinking through gallery walks\nâ€¢ Develop skills in col
 laborating with colleagues\nâ€¢ Build lasting relationships with colle
 agues across the world\nâ€¢ Leave with an action plan to implement bac
 k home\n\nSupplemental Materials:\nAll registrants will receive pre-re
 ad materials before arriving at the institutes. These reading can typi
 cally be completed in a few hours.\nHandouts will be assigned by the i
 nstructors.\n\nTarget Audience\nThis conference is intended for early 
 childhood professionals outside Florida, elementary teachers, and scho
 ol administrators with a genuine interest in enhancing early childhood
  education. We highly encourage teams of four or more participants.\nS

  participants must complete the full 5-day institute.\nCost:\n$350 per
