About Me:
I teach Film and Theater to students at a Long Island public high school. We use blogs, digital editing apps and SmartBoard technologies. I also teach courses (Computer Technologies for Teachers, and Technology, Pedagogy and School Reform) at a private LI university.
I'm also a filmmaker, and this year my short film is showing at the Cannes Film Festival (listed as Laura Alfieri-Rebecca)! Feel free to ask me any questions on integrating film and video into teaching!

Laura, wonderful presentation today at Nastech - only wish we had more time. Kudos to you for being able to talk to your administrators about allowing students access to the real world. I just wanted to let you know I enjoyed the presentation very much.
