Hi Kathy
Looking forward to learning more about classroom 2.0! All I can say is 'wow'!.

Hi Cathy,
Well VoiceThread becomes a talking yearbook. The pictures are there and so are the comments from students and teachers. We are planning one big book, students and teachers will add comments to the pictures (both written and verbal). It won't replace the old fashioned paper yearbooks, just supplement them!

Thanks for the reply to my email. Grade 2 might be too young for my students to make contact with in blogging. But thanks anyway.

We would love to have your comments and a link on our grade 3 BlogPals blog - we are totally open to older students leaving comments and making connections with us. Thanks for sharing!

Btw: I used to work in Munich (at MIS) from 2000 - 2005, and had quite a few colleagues come over from Geneva - how long have you been there?

Yes I am lucky enough to be the only teacher in the school with a smartboard, but there are other teachers who have used them in previous schools, so I am sure they will want some time in my room as well. Will have to organize a booking sheet, I reckon. OK looks like I need to hit the comment back button rather than add comment as my message came back to me rather than going to you that time.

Hi Kathy,
I hit the comment back button and it sent me here. Not sure if I should have just added a comment. Need to learn all these little things about networking. But back to your question. I am primary trained but have taught from grade 3-9 in this school. This year grade 6/7 and will be teaching literacy, numeracy, health and well being with my own class and history/ICT with all grade 6/7 students for an eight week block, four hours per week.

Thanks for the Flickr page. I'm presenting at a state conference and will be showing snippets of this class project; if anyone seems to like it, I'll suggest the Flickr page.

Hi Kathy--I'm a tech teacher in Virginia (US) and am trying to focus on the primary level. Last year my Kindergarten teacher and I worked on a PhotoStory project where the kids took pictures with their Hamilton cameras (posted on my blog about what they are) looking for letters "in nature" and put it into a video. The kids loved it.
