Yes, I come through Sidney every once in awhile. Nice to meet you online and perhaps sometime in person. I like your posted videos - can I cross-post some in my network?
http://newlearning.ning.com?
Sandy Hook is probably 45 minutes or so away from here and has great birding, doesn't it!
Thanks for accepting my friend request and I look forward to finding more videos and other things from you,
Pamela
Hey, your page is filled with interesting stuff. Love the videos.
Keep in touch--you've got a lot "cookin'"!

You left a comment on my blog asking about how hard it is to set up a ning network for class. It's easy! But your kids all have to have an email address. Do they? Ours did as part of a school Gaggle network. If yours don't, you'll have to figure out how to get them email addresses and that will be the most difficult part, I'd guess.
I'm glad to help you with basic setup, any questions I can answer.
The confidentiality issue: you can choose to have your network "by invitation only." That's what we did, and only class members on on the network. I like the kids to "show their parents around" but we haven't asked and parents or anyone else to join at this point. So the confidentiality issue for you would only have to revolve around whether you're ok with all kids you've invited seeing each others' work. Mail within the network is private, between senders and receivers only.
Does that help?
Thanks for your comment!
