Hi Karen! I just submitted a project proposal for my Assistive Technology Certification project through NYS and I listed you as one of my resources for the project. Once I get approval, can I bounce some ideas off of you?

Hi Karen,
I was reading through some responses to a previous post on K-5 Computer education. First, I want to thank you for your feedback. I noticed you are an advocate for Universal Design Learning. My supt just came to me yesterday to tell me about UDL. He told me it will change the way I look at teaching and learning. I was charged with learning this inside and out and transferring this knowledget to our staff. Would you be will to have a brief conversation on UDL through Skype? Please email me directly at maristbb@gmail.com
Thanks.
Bill

Hi Karen. Thanks again for your promo on your blog. My principal just informed me that because of the successes of our 1:1, several special needs students will be placed with me this Fall. I will wear a mic to assist a hearing impaired student and will have two with speech impairments. I am thrilled for these opportunities and want to do all I can to ensure the success of these students. I am grateful to make your acquaintance and would appreciate advice or suggestions you might offer. It seems that your blog and associated links will prove to be great resources for me.
Thank you, Rick

Karen - I was just wandering thru and I had a question which you could probably easily answer for me. I'm creating a website - SpellingCity.com - and have not yet thought about universal access.

Could you take a peak and see how we might think of it in light of what we're doing...
you can email me since i'm just a visitor here...
info spellingcity.com

thx - john

Karen,

I'm also a member of Classroom 2.0. I didn't know there was a Wikki here, accessed through the Resource section. I've posted some things on some of the Wikki.

Isn't the information on Children of the Code interesting? I don't know why I hadn't seen it before, since like you, I'm always looking for good resources and links.
