Hello everyone, my name is Cory Phillips.  I am currently studying Special Education at Illinois State University and taking an assistive technology course.  I am very interested in how to integrate iPad's into the classroom and am eager to read more about teachers who have found it to be successful.  This is my first time using Classroom 2.0 for anything besides looking around, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to start collaborating with professionals with knowledge about assistive technology, and specifically integration of iPad's into the classroom.

Thank you!

Hey Cory! From what I've read, the iPad is extremely effective for students with autism. Further, the new iOS6 on the iPad allows teachers to lock the iPad to a specific app so that the students can't navigate to different parts of the system.
