Level 3 question

Imagine how the story wouldve ended if Joe wouldnt have died for another five years. Level 3.

I think that Janie would of just left Joe just like she left the last husband. When enough was enough and she couldnt of taken it anymore she would of said goodbye and went on her way

I must agree with you Cheyenne. Considering her pattern, Janie was almost at her wits end with the way she was being treated and would have still run off with Tea Cake, as he presented a more free and exciting life for her, that was not restrained and allowed her to be herself. She thought she was doing this when she ran off with Joe, and Tea Cake would have simply been the next experiment.

I disagree with Cheyene . I believe Janie would have stayed with Joe .Joe had already stopped Janie once from leaving.I think Janie would have wanted to leave Joe for Teacake but would be to scared to do so, for the reason of Joe telling jaine men would only want her for her looks and that they would not treat her right.
