Hi everyone, starting tomorrow, the Smithsonian is embarking on an experiment in online conferencing. We are hosting a two day online-only conference for educators on the topic of Lincoln. Information and free registration for the conference can be found here: http://www.smithsonianeducation.org/lincoln.

If any of you are able to participate, I would love to engage you afterward in a conversation of what worked and what didn't. This is the first in a series of conferences we plan to hold for educators and/or students and want to get good at this. We anticipate some issues with the timing of the event (being during the day, rough for many teachers), but also wonder many things about what form these things can and should take.

Your feedback will be invaluable.

Many thanks, in advance.

I'm excited for this project. I can't make it tomorrow, but want to check out the recordings.
