Having discussed this topic with local colleagues, I would love to read other opinions on the topic of educational videos.  I help develop distance learning courses and tutorials. Our discussion was whether it was “professional” enough to use cartoon concepts to teach an idea or principal to educators. I believe educators would love to have something different to learn from other than a ‘real’ person on a video. What are your thoughts? Have you had any experience with professional development courses that use something other than the ‘talking head?’
