Tom Bremer, I looked at Art Ed 2.0 but it says membership is by invitation only. How do I go about getting an "invitation"? Thanks!

Group members:  If you aren't already, I'd head over to Art Ed 2.0 . Its like Classroom 2.0, but for art teachers--over 10,000 members!

Hello!  Thought I'd join the group to see what's up.  I love connecting with other art teachers & discussing our interests.  I encourage people to take part in #arted & #artsed posts & #artsedchat on Thursdays.  Feel free to find me on Twitter (@ColleenKR).

I'm interested in Chelsea's comment prior to mine re: eportfolios and feel that it would definitely be worthy of a good #artsedchat topic!

Hi, I just joined the group. My name is Chelsea and I am a 6th grade art teacher in Park City, Utah. This is my 6th year teaching art, and at our school we have just recently gone electronic. All 6th and 7th graders now have laptops and we are currently in the process of building e-portfolios for all students in the 6th grade. Is there anyone who has done this kind of thing before? I am looking for ideas and am open to suggestions about creating electronic art portfolios specifically.

Thanks!

Hi Rachel, I taught art for many years then moved to the tech dept in my school so I bridge the departments. Along with another art teacher from our school, I am interested in being part of a group.

Rachel,

I am a retired Intellectual property attorney and educator who started life as an instructor in a masters level program of fine arts.
