I am a student teacher in the States, working soon with Middle School students. Do you have any ideas from your knowledge and studies of how to engage students into learning? I have my B.S. in English, and trying to incorporate what I have learned into understandable lessons for students has been difficult so far. Any ideas? I would love to hear some suggestions on how to engage pre-teens and teens in classes, but also what activities may be successful.
