Hi Jess. I am just getting the hang of Skype so I may have done it wrong.
My user name is cwhebbard, so I guess you just add that name.
I am thinking very seriously about starting a collaborative project for my 5/6 class as they are getting Netbooks. I thought you and Anne Mirtschin might be able to steer me in the right direction. Cheers.

Great stuff Jess- for that first form, if you could just put down your head's name and a basic admin email address (probly a office@...), that would be great. Then if you enclose your name and email address, you'll be issued your password. When you've done that you'll have Silver Membership of the site and be able to explore and speak to teachers around the world.

If you want your to register your students and take part in projects then you can upgrade for free to Gold membership.

Hi Jess, yes I´ve got a lot of experiences on using Web 2.0 apps in the classroom - feel free to check some of my sites.
Would like if you decide to join my group on CR 2.0: DigiSkills with 470 members and my group on Grou.ps: http://grou.ps/digiskills
in order to share links and more.
Have a great weekend

Thanks Jess. I work with Bretter Lockyer at Overnewton but am a relatively new arival from Qld. I have been resisting my IWB and being a bit of a whinger about NOT having computers in my classroom. Build a bridge, I say. I have been working with Helen Otway to become an ICT Peer Coach and really want to move back into state education. Thanks for responding to my post. Have a great Sunday!

I am relatively new here. I am from Ghana and I'm just here to learn, contribute as well as link up with like-minded people who will be willing to share their experiences as well as help in spreading the concept of distance learning and adult education to Africa, which lags behind as far as education is concerned. hope to find a friend in you.

Are you still using twitter in the classroom. I was initially interested (having just jumped on board myself) and started a discussion about it but others weren't so keen on my behalf. Has it been a positive experience in your classroom?

HI Jess,
Thanks for the very entertaining session at the conference on Saturday! I have never really ventured into social networks for educators - I have only really played in other ones! So thanks!

Hi Jess,
Thanks for your help. I don't know whats going on. I cannot change my page or edit my profile or blog or anything. I feel hopeless. I cannot even edit my settings, it seems as if it has just frozen. I will try a few different things but if you have any ideas I would appreciate your help.

Hi Jess!
I replied your message a few hrs ago.:) I am looking forward to starting the project. These days, I am busy with the portfolio presentation of my students. Still, I'll be able to have some extra time to manage the project.
Please, no worries about the timing! I think, it will work very well! :)
Tomorrow, I will start adding the photos of my students and our school on the Wiki page.
Cheers! :)

Hi Jess!

Sorry haven't found anyone. It's a busy time of year and the "curriculum" once again is something teachers feel like they have to do rather then learning.....ug. I'll keep trying though. I need more teacher willing to take a risk!

Hi Jess! Thanks for adding me! :) I'll be very happy to share experience and info about the technologies that can be used in language instruction. I'm trying to familiarize myself with the site and I think I need to spend more time on it. I just checked out some of your photos. They're cool! :) I hope to finish with my dissertation soon which is related to the use of digital techs in teaching listening skills. Hope to keep in touch! Deniz
