I'm looking for free teacher recommended, student-friendly clip art sites. Do you have a favorite?

Thanks for all of the recent suggestions! I was just looking at David Warlick's site and noticed many image sites that might be helpful to include in this conversation. http://landmark-project.com/page.php?stamp=&pn=5&psn=&cat=27
You might want to try WPClipart.
Thanks Sue! I hadn't seen this link before.
I tend to just use photographs too. Are you aware of pics4learning? Free, organized, and copyright friendly. Also check out 4freephotos.
If you use Microsoft office, they have an extensive collection of clip art as well.

I like Wikimedia Commons -- it has images as well as other media that are free to use.

I also occasionally use Flickr: Creative Commons, which offers images with varying use licenses.

Good luck!
