shameless ;) vendor promotions

Vendors: This is the only place (other than the ads placed in the right panel) in the Classroom 2.0 community to "sell" yourself and your Web 2.0 product or service.

Members: 92
Latest Activity: Oct 10, 2017

Vendors:

If you have not placed an ad in the right panel, take your best shot here! Please don't do it anywhere else in the community, or we'll have to revoke your license to sell.

If you want to interact with us creatively in the use and design of your product, you'll find another group that serves as a clearinghouse for that kind of collaboration.

Meet Kineo -- an Android tablet for the classroom -- at FETC 2011. Brainchild will officially launch Kineo on Feb. 1 and then begin taking orders for March delivery. Kineo is school safe, rugged, and designed to be a learning device. There is no messaging, no camera and surfing only to sites pre-approved by the teacher/administrator. Price $299/tablet. Learn more at www.Brainchild.com or see us in booth 231.

If you know a teacher looking to renew their license, please tell them about http://ProfessionalLearningBoard.com/ and teachers can get access to a class for free by liking http://Facebook.com/TeacherCEUs on Facebook.

Thanks for helping me help other teachers!

Hi, I'm writing on behalf of LIghtspeed Systems, netTrekker and Atomic Learning. They are sponsoring a research study on the use of Web 2.0 and collaborative technologies in schools that is being conducted by IESD, an independent research firm. We're looking for district leaders to share their expertise and take a brief online survey (about 10 minutes) by Dec. 20: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZMSDHV2. By taking the survey, you can enter to win $500. Your personal information and answers will be held in the strictest confidence. Thank you for your time!

Hi everyone! I just finished writing a 65-page FREE ebook that helps teachers with reducing classroom interruptions, gaining student respect, being a great coach, and dealing with difficult parents. You can download it at

Hello! My name is Sue Mitchell and I work with SCS Engineering, Inc. I have also had experience working with special needs students for the past 5 years.

Our company has developed a software program called Mosaic which is geared for students in ILS, SDC and Resource classrooms. The program includes over 150 activities/quizzes based on California Math Standards and CAPA (CA Alternate Program Assessment) standards. In addition it comes with a specialized 4 button activity panel for students who may have difficulty with a traditional keyboard, and it is also compatible with a TouchScreen.

If you'd like more information, please check out the program at or feel free to contact me directly at mitchell@scsenginc.com. Thank you!

Hi!
My name is Shannon Holden, and I am the founder of http://www.newteacherhelp.com , a website to help teachers survive their first years of teaching. I am developing a product that no one else has thought of yet, and I would like your input to see if there is even a market for it. It is too complicated to write in this short space, but you can get a more detailed explanation at this site:
http://www.instantsqueezepagegenerator.com/displaysp.php?m=64629&am...

The short version is that you will have the answers to all student questions...in a centralized location, that you can refer to whenever a student asks a question to try to get the class off-task. If you sign up, I will reward you with a free "prototype" of what I am building, plus free updates on how the project is going, along with answers to YOUR questions about teaching and learning, classroom management, positive communications with parents, and other issues. You can also watch my YouTube video here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jVX7x6uMOU

Thanks...and I hope to hear from you soon!

P.S. You'll notice a trend with everything I do...it's always FREE.

As Director of Education at CyberSmart! I'm excited to offer you this special summer opportunity to join us and connect with educators from around the country in our first CyberSmart! Summer Online Institute in 21st century skills.

Every Monday this summer we'll be offering each of our five facilitated online workshops. Each of these engaging professional development experiences provides CEU credit and requires a commitment of 2.5 hours a week over a consecutive four-week period - anytime/anywhere.

Past participants have raved about how unique and useful their experience was. Our workshops are carefully crafted online learning environments that model and engage educators in various 21st Century concepts such as inquiry-based learning, collaboration, critical thinking, individualized and differentiated learning, social constructivism, among others. It doesn't matter what or who you teach, we have found a diversity of k-12 professionals creates a richer learning community, applying 21st century concepts across disciplines and grade levels.

If you are a single individual, we are offering a special rate of $250 per person per workshop. Normally, we limit our workshop sales to large groups to establish effective learning communities within our client schools and districts. Research confirms that this is how to support systemic change. But this summer we're happily responding to many of you who want to try us out.

Experience CyberSmart! hands on for yourself and see why teachers report increased student engagement when they embrace 21st century teaching.

If I have piqued your interest in any way, please take a minute to register your interest here with NO OBLIGAT....

If you have any questions feel free to email me at barman@cybersmart.org and I'll email or call you personally whichever you prefer.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Kind Regards,

Barry Mansfield
