Nancy,
I am a newbie to web 2.0 , but love the concept! I have always been a fan of authentic assessments , but at times I find the readability of articles and the search process challenging for fifth and sixth- grade students. I frequently make theses long documents of possible links for their various choices . When I first found delicious I thought this was a great alternative, for students to share bookmarks. I am wondering if there is a social bookmarking sight that helps you set up folders like delicious does? Do you know of any? I have found edutagger , but it does not seem as good.

Yes, I am at a college and I am just now exploring all of this 2.0 stuff. Better late than never I guess. So, do you know if I can add a video or photos to one particular group exclusively? I do not want what I add to groups to be on my main page and I cannot seem to get around that. I will try the site you suggested also. Thanks! I am a bit overwhelmed, but anxious to learn!

Nancy, I started my own NING just a few days ago and I have really enjoyed setting it up and thinking of all of the possible uses of it. I found this site by accident and I am so glad that I did! It is perfect! But, as a real newbie to all of this, I would like to know if there is a group or a site for people who are just starting out with Ning etc. I have lots of silly simple questions that seem to take me ages to figure out. The main question I have right this minute is HOW can I post a video on just a group page? I do not want the video to be on the main page...I just need to know if it is even possible to post a video and pictures exclusively on one group page and not another. HELP! BFM - your newest member.

I recently heard that you can view archives of old webinars in Classroom 2.0. When I click on the 2.0 Live site, I get a message that says I can't view the page and says the page requires a login. But I'm already logged in to Classroom 2.0 and it doesn't give a place to log in to the Live site. Can you help?

Hi Nancy, I think I probably have an answer about why it is good to have "colleagues" on 2.0. I have found some also on twitter and it's a bit easier for a "Newbie" like me to keep track of everyone I've been collaborating with.

Hi Nancy,
I know you're really busy, so if you don't have the time to check this out, I totally understand.
In December I had never seen a Wiki. My students and I jumped in with both feet and haven't looked back. The students are very excited to have a real audience. If you have time, please take a look at what they've created so far. RPG Maker XP Help. We would appreciate any feedback you have. Currently the wiki is protected, so you'll have to either email me your feedback or give it through Classroom 2.0.
Thanks!
Pat

Funny you should mention the moon phases cookie thing. I saw that on line and tried it at home...I got so sick on cookies before I realized the students were supposed to use the mini-oreos not the regular full size oreos :) I ran out of time and didn't get to do it but I might revisit during our end of year review. I also want to do the pringle project that you have posted somewhere. I'm getting lots of great ideas from you. Thank you for being so willing to share resources, ideas, and student work.

Hi nancy...
I m a student of electronics engineering.I have Classroom 2.0 as my term project for ICT (Information and Communication technology) course.
MY project specifics are: How to efficiently use the available Classroom 2.0 online resources to increase learning/ productivity?

I have few questions regarding the Classroom 2.0 as follow:

1. When was Classroom 2.0 launched for general public officially?
2. What else or which organization or people were involved with Steve Hargadon in the creation?any co founders?
3. Who sponsored it?
4. What is there for a student in classroom 2.0?Other than reviewing or commenting on other teachers blogs?

Thanks for your time.
You got a great thing going.CHeerz.

Hi Nancy, I've enjoyed commenting back and forth with you on the blog post about the PD. You seem like a great communicator--I have a question,..being fairly new here...(and loving it already.) What happens when someone becomes a "colleague" Is it like a "friend" on facebook? For example, if you were my "colleague" would I get updates on your posts? Thanks!

Hi Nancy. I was wondering if your students would be interested in participating in a nationwide SAT Vocab Video Contest @ MIT university. Perhaps you have some educator contacts you could direct me to. You can view contest details at BrainyFlix.com Please let me know. Thanks!

Our district blocks YouTube. I assumed from the URL that the video was stored on Classroom, but it may point to YouTube.

I'll look at the source code of that video and others that I am unable to view at work.

Thanks for your response.
