Hey all! I’m not one among those trained teachers,am an IT professional. But as a part of my social service I do take classes in an underprivileged school. I never thought teaching could be so difficult. I consider it to be the greatest challenge and I respect teachers for that. Teaching is definitely a real talent. I go for the classes during evenings and at the weekends. Sometimes the days get so much frustrating that I become so lazy in taking up the classes. I think I'm not doing justice to the kids. There are kids of all IQ levels. And so, there are students who don't grasp the concept faster. . I got hold of many kits like the teacher’s time saver kit, essay writing kit etc. They are helping me a lot. But I would like to make the classes more productive.  What can I do to bring those kids in par with the others?

It is true that you need to make lot of efforts in order to be successful with teaching.

Hello,

It’s noble of you to stick with it and encourage equitable learning. Spending extra time with students can help boost their skills. I also recommend creating some coursework that centers on small group learning. Group learning can help encourage participation. On that note, try a large discussion and call on every single member of the group. Offer constructive feedback to students who are quieter or show areas of improvement, this may help to bolster their confidence. Good luck!
