As part of working with Mrs. Lowe's class in Australia in a writing project, she sent our kids a sample of the popular Australian snack, vegemite (yeast extract in a tube), which we promptly applied to bread and crackers and sampled in front of the video lens. Communication? Indeed.

Jane - I tried it and thought it was good; shou;d have had the camera on me at that moment. Durff - I didn't realize it had other incarnations! Marmite?? Yum. Helen - thanks, it was quite an event, one which will now spawn lots of blogging!

You mean you haven't had it? Vegemite is similar to Marmite in the UK and Cenovis in Switzerland.
