Telling this story to those who are be wondering in advance, "What's in this technological 'stuff' for me and what I do?" is a great way to begin a professional relationship with them. A good story always engages various mental/emotional possibilities for its hearer/reader. Despite it shorter length, this is a good story which you've told well.

I like the reference to "Give a Moose a Muffin" and "Give a Mouse a Cookie" books -- can you tell I have little ones at home?
