When Marilyn Monroe did this quote she was trying to say that nobody is perfect and that people make mistakes , but just because they do so doesnt make them wrong or right . For example when she says i sin but im not the devil she is showing that she makes mistakes and she does bad things but it doesnot make her a bad person.
