In my opinion the part wher it says "Dead, ut not allowed to die." Means in a sence that she is practically dead but ther is something that is holding her back like unfinished business or something that is holding her together like a loved one. And the part wher it says "Alive,but as good as dead." Means that she is alive but doesnt have much of a life to live for or she is as good as dead for the reson being her life has no real meaning to it.
